Comment on Recent Popular Secular Books

There is great interest in witchcraft being created today among not only children but the population in general by books which appear to most to be good harmless fun. However, all should be aware that in witchcraft, in the ways of darkness truly there is no goodness and there is no true fun.  These books encourage people to accept what is basically evil and to see no wrong in that.  It must be remembered by all that witchcraft goes against the teachings of Christ and opposes the goodness of God. 

Witchcraft brings people back to the old pagan ways, the old magical ways and the old evil ways.

Anyone who believes this is not so should look carefully at what these books contain for in them are the actual words of spells which are words calling upon evil.  People should also think carefully who would know these words and write them down and why!

Now I am sure many people will say these books are harmless and that my comments are to be ignored as foolish and uninformed but isn’t it those who read of the dark and see no wrong in it that are foolish and uninformed?

Evil uses what appears to be good to spread it’s ways for if it came out in the open and showed it’s true self most would reject or ignore it.  However, when evil packages itself in children’s stories or in stories that seem to be of little harm it is readily accepted by many.

These books bring more people to accept evil’s ways and to be led into evil’s web of deceit and wrong.  Interestingly when web sites are found on the internet for some of these books one finds links to sites promoting witchcraft.

Let every Christian clearly understand that when they read these type of books they read what opposes their faith, what denies Christ, Our Lord and what will bring no good into their lives.

Discernment is needed by those who are Christian so that they can see the wrong and stand against it and not accept it, as in the acceptance Christian’s help spread what is against the teachings of Christ, Our Lord and help bring confusion into the lives of many. 

Galatians 5:19-21 ‘ Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like.  I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.   

Catechism of the Catholic Church :

2117 All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one’s service and have a supernatural power over others – even if this were for the sake of restoring their health – are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. These practices are even more to be condemned when accompanied with the intention of harming someone, or when they have recourse to demons.  Wearing charms is also reprehensible.

2138     Superstition is a departure from the worship that we give to the true God. It is manifested in idolatry, as well as in various forms of divination and magic.

It is not only in the sciences that evil tries to bring people to deny the true faith but the evil one frequently uses the arts and literary ways to confuse the world.  Great heresies are packaged in the words of novels or what is said to be a presentation of secret facts purposely hidden from the world.  A great number of people in their prideful desire to know purported secrets read and believe what are lies or fiction and see those as truth.  There is a great weakness among people that some are suspicious of almost everything and in their suspicions love to hear of secrets which will confirm what they suspect or hear of new secrets that will feed their suspicious minds. 

Those who love Me should know in Me while there are mysteries there are no secrets, there are no conspiracies, in Me are no hidden agendas, in Me all is exposed in My light and nothing is hidden and in Me there is only the desire for love, peace and happiness to be in all peoples’ lives.  It should also be clear to those who love Me that in My Holy Apostolic Church all is revealed by the grace of My Holy Spirit, all is explained by the wisdom of My Holy Spirit and all can only be understood by the power of My Holy Spirit.  So if people want to understand all that is revealed it is wise to ask My Holy Spirit for the grace to do so and the power to live to that true understanding. 

It will be found then that My Holy Spirit’s wisdom will say, ‘Listen to the Church, let the Church help you to understand and know that it is by My power the Church does so.’  When this is done then the truth of My life, My death and My resurrection will be clear and not confused.

Sadly, today, many people read a great heresy which is an old heresy repackaged to look new.  Centuries ago some declared that I did not die on the cross and that I left Israel with Mary Magdala whom I married and had children with.  Some declared these children then became the Royalty of Europe.

Today this heresy that I married Mary Magdala and had children with her resurfaces, changed a little to suit the times.  So many people read and believe that this heresy is fact, even some of those who call themselves My followers.  Others say it is only a book, a fiction and a good read.  Truly it is not a good read, it is a bad read for it openly insults Me, denies My sacrifice, denies My resurrection and denies the holiness of Mary of Magdala.  Anyone with true spiritual sight would know immediately where this comes from, it comes from satan. 

His mark is obvious;

The denial of My death and resurrection.

The denial of My ascension.

The denial of My divinity when it says I married and fathered children. 

The denial of holiness in a saint. 

The denial of My truth and the sowing of seeds of suspicion and of doubt. 

This heresy is a direct attack on Me, on My Church and upon My saints and yet so many who say they love Me remain silent and do not stand against this heresy by lovingly but firmly declaring the truth. 

When a heresy is not faced and confronted with the truth, a heresy takes hold and leads people away from My divine truth.  That is why it is important that those who do know the truth tell all about it and explain in truth and love the great errors in this heresy so that the heresy can be overcome, can be seen for what it truly is and can be prevented from hurting many souls.
