Dear Friends in Christ,
Welcome to the second Newsletter of the Touch Of Heaven.
In this Newsletter we would like to review some of the recent
events in Alan Ames Ministry.
Since the beginning of 1998 Alan has visited the Eastern States
of Australia, America, England, Ireland, Malaysia and Russia.
The response to his messages has been very good with conversions
and apparent healings. Worldwide, his message of Gods love
and forgiveness is welcomed and he is receiving many invitations
to speak
Volume 1 of Through the Eyes of Jesus is now available in German
and Russian as well as English and in the future is planned
to be in several other languages. (For those of you who have
read Volumes 1 and 2, Volume 3, the final volume, has now been
published.)
The Way of Hope has been published containing an especially
beautiful message on Heaven.
Archbishop Hickeys position on Alan remains unchanged with
permission to carry on his ministry under the guidance of his
spiritual director, Fr Gerard Dickinson of St. Marys Cathedral.
Perth, Western Australia.
We find it necessary to reassure you about this because of recent
attempts to discredit Alan. A person or persons falsely using
the address of Casa Frassati (a vocations discernment centre
in Perth) and falsely using the address of the Chancery Office
in Perth, in a fax to a Medjurgje MIR Centre in America, perpetrated
several calumnies in an attempt to cancel some of Alans speaking
arrangements. Such devious practices are of the devil and those
concerned stand judged before God.
Alan reminds everyone that the events in his life do not make
him holier than anyone else and all that happens is by the
grace of God. Here are some messages.

From the Holy Spirit
|
A man and a woman in marriage become one in love.
A man and a woman in marriage become one to God.
A man and a woman in marriage become inseparable
in the eyes of God and when they keep love in
their marriage, they become inseparable in their
own eyes also.
Reference: Matthew 6:10 On earth as in heaven.
|
Obedience is the key to doing My will.
Obedience to God and obedience to
the Body of Jesus in His Church.
Reference: Psalm 81:9 If only you will obey
Me, Israel.
|
| Through the Sacred Heart - Two messages from Jesus |
From the Cross I looked upon the world
and offered it peace in Me.
That offer is still there just waiting
for mankind to accept it.
When the world does, it will be at peace
and My love will fill all hearts with My joy.
Reference: Luke 17:30
On the day the Son of Man is revealed.
|
To praise another for the good they do,
no matter how small it may be,
is a grace that may help.
To criticize for the wrong they do,
no matter how big it is,
is to place a barrier between them and you,
which may stop you helping them.
To help, do not ctiticize,
praise in love even those who may do wrong;
praise them for any good they do
and help them find the path to salvation.
Reference: Psalm 91:16
Show them My saving power.

The Saints speak - Two messages from St Benedict |
A Daily Prayer :-
Lord, make this day another way to pray.
Lord, make this day another way to love.
Lord, make this day another way to help.
Make this day Yours, Lord.
Reference: Job 32:7 Days should speak.
|
If evil is near, pray.
If evil is near, do not be afraid.
If evil is near, trust in Jesus.
If you do so, evil cannot win.
Reference: Isaiah 14:5
The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked

Through the Immaculate Heart - Three Messages from Our
Mother |
Each step in life can be one that brings you closer to
God if you step in love,
or takes you from God if you step in sin.
It is important that every step you take is considered
and that you see where it will take you.
Stepping towards God with each step is wise
but stepping into the unknown foolish.
If you keep God as your direction in life
you will never be lost but if you have no direction
you may never be found.
Proverbs: 9:12 If you are wise it is to
your own advantage.
|
Do not look to others for your advantage,
instead, see how you can be to their advantage.
Daniel 12:3,Isaiah 59:13 Lead the many
to God.
|
Treat a sinner with love,
Treat the sin with loathing.
Sirach: 4:9 Deliver the oppressed from
the hand of the oppressor.

The Saints speak - A message from St Thomas |
Never doubt that the Lord will be there when you need
Him.
Never believe that the Lord will let you down.
Never fear that the Lord will not support you in your time
of need.
The Lord is always there for you and for all if only they
ask.
Hebrews 12:1 Rid yourselves of every
burden.

We invite comments and suggestions from readers as to what
we should include in this little
Newsletter. Certainly any reports of healings received from
the Lord through Alan's Ministry
would be most welcome. We also include comments regarding
Alan's books/publications.
Some testimonies follow: |
USA : Fr. A.Draper
"He is a powerful speaker and one who combines that with compassion
and profound kindness. Both Catholics and Episcopalians were
blessed with Alans presentation and healing service. He bridged
the gap between peoples here in the Bible Belt of Virginia."
Australia : Fr. M. Crowe
"His talk on the Sacrament of Penance was a lovely appeal
to us to go to Confession."
USA : Fr. T. Hochstatter
"Through the grace of Jesus at work in you (Alan) many were
led to Confession who may not have come otherwise. If you
recall I was often in the confessional till midnight and sometimes
later."
Australia : Fr. P. OReilly
"He is doing wonderful work for the church exhorting people
to give themselves more to God."
USA : M.B.B., Indiana
"..I enjoyed my day at the Marian Conference in Fort Wayne,
Indiana in March 1998. It was the most spiritual day and when
I am down I spend my time reliving that day. Thank you for
giving so much of yourself to help others. The gift you give
is so lifting and loving."
About Through the Eyes of Jesus :-
USA : Fr. Robert De Grande
"I was so impressed with Volume one that I asked my Brazilian
publisher to print it in Portugese so that the wonderful Brazilian
people could get the benefits that I received from it."
USA : P.N., Loiusiana
"I truly feel the presence of the Lord when I read his books:
Through the Eyes of Jesus. May God continue to bless
you, and the many that read your material!"
England : Fr. J. McCaffery
"The second book about Jesus is very inspiring."
USA : Fr. R.T. McSorley - Theologian
"Are the events and details of Jesus life told here true?
I got my yes answer as I compared them with the life of
Jesus as I had learned it from the Gospel, Church teaching
and Tradition. To imagine the events told here without an
interior vision would be as easy as writing the Gospels without
divine assistance. I recommend this book to anyone who wants
to know Jesus more intimately, love Him more ardently and
follow Him more closely."
Russia : Fr. G. Chistyakov - Theologian
"I would like to draw readers attention to the fact that
they will not find in this book anything contradicting the
New Testament, that testifies that it is living faith that
speaks in the author and not his desire to say something on
his own."
USA : J.S., Maryland
"...I have read Volumes 1 and 2, Through the Eyes of Jesus,
and what a difference they have made in my life!! I love Jesus
even more now, and I see people differently. I pray that I
see the way Jesus wants me to see." |
